Winter sports on the Seiser Alm

The winter season in the Alpe di Siusi ski area starts at the beginning of December and ends between the beginning and middle of April. The area is open daily from 09.00 to 17.00 hours. The approximately 60 km (18 km easy, 40 km medium and 2 km difficult) of the best prepared ski runs are distributed between 1.685 and 2.177 m above sea level.

On the Seiser Alm there are 16 chair lifts and 3 drag lifts. Two cable cars take you up to the alpine pasture, from Siusi and from Ortisei in Val Gardena. Every year there are about 11 toboggan runs (Puflatsch 1,8 km; Spitzbühel 1,4 km; Zallinger 2,9 km; Molignon 2,8 km; Icaro-Monte Piz 1,7 km; Panorama 1,5 km; Hoferalpl 4,3 km; Messnerjoch-Niger Pass 2 km; Rungun St. Zyprian 0,8 km; Haniger Schwaige 3,5 km; Tuff Alm-Völser Weiher 2,2 km).
For all cross-country skiing fans there is an 80 km long network of trails on the Seiser Alm.
